It Won’t Always Be Like This
September 03, 2025
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
We have all been through a season in our lives when things did not look good at all. We had one of those days, that turned into one of the weeks, that eventually turned into one of those months. It felt like everything that could go wrong went wrong. The more we prayed the more things unraveled in our lives. The more we looked at the situation the more down we became and then almost in an instant, The Lord turned it around for us. We must remember we cannot look at things we are going through with our natural eyes, but we must look at every situation with our spiritual eyes. The Scripture reminds us that we should not look at things which are seen as permanent situations, because they are only temporary, and the things we cannot see are eternal. I encourage you today to remember what you see now is not the end of the story it is just a piece of the story. The Lord has so much ahead of you, and you cannot allow what is going on now to stop or block your progress. What you see now in your life is only temporary. What you don't see is the multiplicity of blessings The Lord has for you if you can keep going. Do not let things, people, or even what you see keep you from moving forward. Every word The Lord has spoken in your life will come to pass, and although you may not be able to see it now, believe it will happen simply because The Lord said it would. What it is now in my life will not always be, this is just a temporary situation, not a permanent circumstance. Since I know The Lord has more in store for my life, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for reminding me that what I see and what I am going through, will not always be like this. Help me navigate through this temporary situation, so I can get to the eternal blessings that you have in store for my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
