In His Presence
May 28, 2023
“And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.” 2 Samuel 6:14
here is no doubt The Lord has been good to us. There has not been a time when we needed The Lord and we could not find Him. Even before we called on The Lord, He was there for us, already making a way out of no way. As believers we should have a desire to always be in His presence because it is in His presence that we find the fullness of joy and peace. David decided not to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem, and the Ark represented the very presence of God. When David heard that all of the people were being blessed in the place that he left the Ark, he knew he had bring the Ark to Jerusalem. The Scripture reminds us that, David danced before the Lord will all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. I encourage you today to be in the presence of The Lord. When trials and tribulations come your way, press your way into the presence of The Lord. When storms are raging in your life, get into the presence of The Lord. In His presence you will find joy, peace, love, grace, and mercy to make it through all that you are facing. It is in the presence of The Lord, that the things you worry about, you will not worry about any longer, because you know that The Lord is with you. David danced because of the power of being in the presence of The Lord. When you press your way into His presence, you may not dance, you may shed tears, shout, or some other expression, but whatever you do rejoice because being in His presence lets you know that everything is going to be all right. I am grateful that each day I am in the presence of The Lord, and it is in His presence that gives me strength to face all that may come my way. Since I am basking in His presence daily, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for allowing me to be in your presence. It is in your presence that gives me the strength to press forward to do all you have called me to do. It is in your presence that I find joy, peace, grace, mercy and so much more. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
