In His Presence

“Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.” Psalm 51:11 (ESV)

There is something powerful and special when we are in the presence of God. When we are in His presence, no matter what is going on in our lives we know that everything is going to be all right. When we are in His presence, we have joy, peace, and love that keeps us in the most difficult times in our lives. When we are not in His presence, we feel lost, abandoned, and we do not know what we are going to do or how we are going to make it. Every day we should do all that we can to press our way into His presence. David understood the importance of being in His presence and when He sinned, He prayed, do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. I encourage you today to pray as David prayed, and ask The Lord not to cast you away from His presence, and not to take the Holy Spirit from you. Without the presence of God in your life, you will not be able to make it. The Holy Spirt will lead and guide you to the places that God has prepared for you. The Holy Spirit will keep you in those difficult situations you face in life. No matter what is happening in your life, always seek to be in God’s presence, because in His presence you will have everything you need. Through my ups and downs, my good and bad days, when I sin and mess up, I will always seek to be in God’s presence. It is in His presence that I find forgiveness, comfort, peace, love, and joy. Since I will always seek to be in the presence of God, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for forgiving me of all my sin. Thank you for allowing me to be in your presence. When the world is crashing in on me, let me find everything I need in your presence. Let the Holy Spirit to lead and gide me to the places you have for me. In Jesus Name Amen.
