In His Everlasting Arms
January 26, 2024
"The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them." Deuteronomy 33:27
Each of us should have a person we can confide in. There should be someone in our lives we can share the things we are going through. Often, we try to bottle everything in and then the stress of life catches up to us and before we know we are stressed out. No one person is superman or superwoman, we all have issues which are hard to face alone. Even if there is not anyone, we feel comfortable sharing with, the good news is God is always there for us. The Scripture reminds us vividly God is a refuge for us, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them. I encourage you today to remember God is a refuge for you. He knows all about your troubles and fears. He knows what is on your heart before you even say it. God knows what you are going through, and He is refuge and His everlasting arms will lift you up when you are down. God's everlasting arms are strong and powerful. When the enemy comes against you, rest assure that God's everlasting arms will thrust them out, and you will be able to accomplish all what God has called you to do. Do not be afraid to share with God the things you are facing, find a quiet place and pour out your heart before Him, and let God rock you in the cradle of His everlasting arms. When you do this the circumstances and situations do not stand a chance, because God will lift you up. I thank God that He is my refuge and He moves the enemy out of my way and destroys them on my behalf. Since I trust in the strength of God's everlasting arms, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, you are always good to me. I thank you for always listening to me and answering me when I call. Thank you for always picking me up with your everlasting arms when I find comfort and peace. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
