In God’s Time
September 26, 2023
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 (ESV)
We serve a God who keeps His promises. We can stand on the fact that no matter what things look like, if God said it to us, we can believer that God will do it for us. There are some who make promises, and we already know that they will not keep their promises, and if we are honest with ourselves there were some promises that we did not keep. Since God is a promise keeper we can rely on Him to come through for us, no matter how long it takes. The Scripture reminds us, The Lord Is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient towards you, not wishing that nay should perish, but that all should reach repentance. I encourage you today to remember that God will come through for you. Things may not be happening as fast as you want them to, but remember that your time is not God’s time. God will come through for you every time, and He will come through right on time. Do not allow the time that has elapsed between promises and fulfillment to discourage you, but remember God does not count time like you do, and in the right time, God will fulfill every promise He made to you. I know that every promise God has made to me, He will fulfill. I am learning to wait on God, and I know He will come through for me. Since I know that my answers to my prayer are not slow, but will happen in God’s time, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for being the great promise keeper. There is not a time that you have not come through for me, and I know that there will not be a time when you will not do what you said you will do. I know you will show up for me on time every time. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
