Immanuel

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). Matthew 1:23 (ESV)

God in His infinite wisdom knew that man was going to sin, and He knew that we were going to need a way to get back in right relationship with Him. The sacrificing of animals no longer satisfied God, so He decided to send His Son Jesus to pay the price for sin for us. The Scripture reminds us that, behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us). I encourage you today to be thankful that God sent His Son in the form of man, born of a virgin to be the substitute for us, and His blood satisfied God. Jesus came for us and no matter what it is that we are going through we know that God is with us. When trials and tribulations come in your life remember that God is with you. When you are feeling like you are all alone remember that God is with you, and He will see you through all things. I am thankful that God sent Immanuel to be the substitution for my sin, and no matter what I may go through I am confident that God is with me. Since I know that God is with me always, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Thank you, Lord, for always being with me. Thank you for sending Jesus to give me salvation. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
