He’s Not There
April 09, 2023
"He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee," Luke 24:6
This day is not about bunnies and eggs. It is not about new clothes or shoes. It is not about bonnets and hats, this day is about Jesus. Today we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Innocent yet crucified for the sins of the whole world. It is because of His love for us that He endured the pain and agony of the cross and would not come down to save Himself. The women went to the tomb early Sunday morning only to discover that He was not there. The Scripture reminds us that the angel proclaimed, He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spoke to you when he was yet in Galilee. I encourage you today to remember that He was not there, He is risen. Because He is risen you can also rise through the challenges of life. Because He is risen, you also can rise and be a blessing to others as He has been a blessing to you. Celebrate the risen Lord today. I am so grateful that you were not there and you are risen from the dead, just like you said you would, so my sin and the sin of the world would be paid. Since I will always celebrate and praise my risen Savior Jesus Christ, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Thank you for not being there. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
