Heart Thoughts
November 07, 2025
"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:" Proverbs 23:7a
Many experts say that we can have up to 70,000 thoughts in a single day, and without a doubt that is a lot to think about in one day. In those multiplicity of thoughts we think about like, what are we going to wear, eat, drink, and where we are going to go among other things. Some of our thoughts are not as mundane as what we are going to do today, but some of our thoughts are deep thoughts that will cause us to go one way or the other, and it takes time to think through what we should actually do. Then there are some things that we do with little thought at all because we do them out of habit, but it still causes us to think before we do them. Then there are those thoughts that we have that are not necessarily from our brain, but from our heart. Each day we make many heart decisions for our lives, and those thoughts build our morality and integrity. The Scripture reminds us that, for as a person thinks in their heart, so they are. I encourage you today as you think those thoughts that causes you to make wise decisions from your heart. Those heart decisions that you will make today will help shape who you are in The Lord, and who you are as a person. Those heart decisions are more difficult than the decisions that you will make from your mind. The heart decisions are difficult because they usually involve how you will look at others, or what you will do for someone else. When you make those decisions from the heart they should be saturated with prayer, and allow God to lead and direct the thoughts of your heart. As you think in your heart, so you shall be. If you think evil, you will be evil. If you think positive, you will be positive. Have righteous heart thoughts today, and The Lord will do righteous things for you, and continue to strengthen your heart. I thank God for allowing me to have great thoughts about where He is leading me. I think in my heart that I am blessed, that is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for thinking great things about me. Thank you for allowing me to know that no matter what anything looks like you are with me, and I will have great thoughts not just from my head, but more importantly my heart. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
