Heart Burn

"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?" Luke 24:32
"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?" Luke 24:32
There are times when we can talk to people about what we are going through or what we are experiencing, and they seem to understand sometimes, and other times they are not able to grasp the fullness of what we truly are going through. There are some things we go through and do not fully understand ourselves, we think we know, but in the end we find out we really did not understand it all, until we made it through and had an opportunity to see what God brought us out of. It is only when we come in the presence of God that full understanding can take place. It is not until Jesus opens our eyes that we can see Him for who He really is, that we can truly understand all that we have faced. The Scripture reminds us of the two who were traveling on the road and they encountered a stranger who open the Scriptures to them in a brand new way. I encourage you today to do all you can to get in the presence of God. When you are in His presence you will be able to say your heart was burning within at the wonderful way The Lord was pouring Scripture into your heart. It is by His Word you will be able to be free from some things that have had you bound. Allow the Word of God to open up your heart in a way that it has not been opened before, and those things that were difficult for you to see, becomes a little more clear once you put it the perspective of His Word. My understanding of things are limited at best, but God knows all, and every time I am in His presence my heart burns within at the wonderful way He ministers to me. Since I will do all I can to be in His presence, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for your Word. Your Word keeps and feeds me every day. Thank you for always shining your light of love on my life and guiding me through every situation I face. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
