He Is

“God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
Exodus 3:14 (ESV)
There are some people who are known either by just their first name or a nickname that has become more common than their real name. They are known for what they do in their occupation and they are so famous that people really believe they know them. While they are known by just a name and can be internationally recognized, the truth of the matter is that we really do not know them, we just know of them. While those that are famous may not be truly known, God is so close to us and He wants us to know Him, just as He knows us. God is recognized worldwide and He makes Himself accessible to everyone. The Scripture reminds us, God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” I encourage you today to remember that God is the great I am, and whatever you need Him to be, He is. Wherever you need Him to be, He is. He is a healer, a deliver, a way maker, a friend, a brother, a confidant, a company keeper, a supplier of all your needs, and so much more. When trouble arises in your life, all you have to do is call on the great I am and He will be there for you. I am grateful and thankful that I know the great I am who is my everything and is always there for me. The Lord is my I am and He always surrounds me with His power, love, joy, and peace. Since God is my great I am, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for being my great I am. For all that you are to me and for all that you do for me, I say thank you. When people ask me who you are I will tell them, God is the great I am and whatever you need Him to be, He is. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
