Great Things
December 28, 2023
"For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name." Luke 1:49
It does not make a difference how big or how small we are we have all faced a situation in our lives when we needed to ask someone to help us. Asking for help is not always easy to do for some people, because we think we can do everything on our own. There comes a time for each of us when we realize we are not as strong as we thought we were, and we have to call on The Lord to help us through the things we are facing. The Scripture reminds us that He that is mighty has done great things for us, and holy is His name. I encourage you today to remember that The Lord has done great things for you, and He is mighty enough to see you through all that you face. Take time to look back over your life today and see all the great and mighty things The Lord has done and is doing in your life. Look at how He has kept you and blessed you and shinned His light of love on your life. Look at all the ways He has made for you, and all the doors He has opened for you. You should be able to say without a doubt, that The Lord has done great things in your life. The Lord is mighty and when you are weak, He steps in on time and makes ways for you. There is nothing you face that is too hard for The Lord to see you through. Since The Lord is holy and sovereign there is not a place He cannot go or anything He cannot do, and will not do for you. Stop relying on your own strength, power and knowledge and start relying on the One who is mighty and great and does great things in your life. Even if you think you are superman or superwoman, God is awesome and He is mighty and stronger than your greatest problem, and He will be there for you. I am thankful that I serve a great God who is mighty and does great things in my life. He not only has done great things He is doing and will continue to do great things for me, this is why I am so confident, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for all the great and wonderful things you have done in my life. Thank you for all the ways you have made for me and the doors you have opened for me. I am grateful for all the blessing you have given to me. I will proclaim everywhere I go that you are great and mighty. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
