Grateful For His Grace
November 23, 2025
"WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow? 2Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?" Romans 6:1-2 (Amplified)
It is wonderful being recipients of the grace of God. Grace is the unmerited unearned favor of God. God gives us grace because He chooses to give us grace, not because we deserve it or earned it. There is nothing we have done to earn it or warrant it, or do we deserve it. God decides in His infinite love and wisdom to give us grace. We have all had somebody we felt used us and took our kindness for weakness and stepped on us, all because we were good to them. No matter what they did to us or said about us, we would still do anything for them. The truth of the matter is we do this same thing to God all the time when we take the grace He gives us every day and continue to sin. It is true all have sin and come short of the glory of God, but there are also some things we do purposely knowingly and willingly, and that is when we need to look within ourselves and make the changes necessary so we can be all that God created us to be. I encourage you today to walk in the favor, mercy and grace of Almighty God. Don't let sin have its way today, but hold on to the grace of God. You are on a journey trying to reach the promises The Lord has for you, and you cannot let sin take you off track. You cannot waist another minute on the journey to the promises God has for you. Thank God for His grace. I cannot let sin block me because. "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your grace and your mercy that you give to me every day. Thank you for looking past my faults and still providing my needs. Thank you for loving me through it all. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
