Good Things

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah." Jeremiah 33:14

Often people promise us a myriad of things and when the promise is made, we believe them and look forward to receiving the promise and receive it with joy. When the promise is not fulfilled, we feel like our hearts have been broken. People do not break promises on purpose all the time, there are times when a promise has to be broken because it was not possible. Even though people break their promises to us, we can rest assure that God will never break His promises to us. The Scripture reminds us that the day comes when the Lord will do and perform the good things He has promised to us. I encourage you today to remember that The Lord has promised you good things. Although, they have not come to pass in your life yet, hold on to the promise The Lord has made for your life. All your life people may have broken their promises to you, but The Lord has never gone back on anything He has promised for you. As you look back over your life and every promise that The Lord has made for your life, be encouraged that He will do what He said that He would do for your life. No matter what happens I know the promises of The Lord are true, and they will come to pass in my life. Since I know The Lord is a promise keeper, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for every promise you have made to me. I know that all those promises will come to pass in my life, and because I know that you are the great promise keeper, I will wait on those promises because I know you always keep your word. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
