God’s Plan
October 22, 2023
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11
It is essential that we set goals so we will know where we are going as we travel the road of life. Some of the goals that we set are simple goals, and others are more complex. Some goals are attainable in a few days, while others over a few years. There are even times when we set deadlines for ourselves to reach our goals, and there are times when we reach those deadlines, and there are times when we miss them all together. In missing the timeline for our goals can be frustrating, but we should always remember it is not in our time, but God’s time. The Lord reminds us in this Scripture that, He knows the thoughts that He thinks towards us, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us an expected end. I encourage you today to remember that The Lord has a plan for you, and He has an expected end as well. Just because you may not know the plan that The Lord has for you, does not mean The Lord does not know what He is doing in your life. Trust The Lord to lead you and guide you down the paths of life that He has designed just for you, and although you may not be where you planned to be, you are right where God wants you to be at this point in your life. You may not be on the easiest of roads, but The Lord knows where He has you, and His plan for you is for good and not for evil. Keep your faith in The Lord as you strive to do and be what He has called you to be, knowing that He is with you all the way. Since The Lord knows the thoughts that He thinks towards me, and He knows the plans He has for my life, and I know He has an expected end for my success, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for all the plans you have for my life, and I know they for my good. Forgive me for being impatient and not waiting on you and your plan to work in my life. Continue to lead and guide me to my destiny in you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
