God’s Plan

"Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; do not further their evil plot, or they will be exalted!" Psalm 140:8 (ESV)

As we look around society it now seems like many people are for themselves. There was a time when people looked out for one another. Now it seems we are living in a time when no one looks out for anyone. The African proverb of it takes a village to raise a child, seems to have gone by the wayside, and instead of the village raising the children, the children have taken over the village. It is not bad to have the mentality to better one’s self, but to climb over people to do it does not make our community better. It is imperative for us to make sure we continue to look to The Lord for all things, because we know the enemy will do all they can do to keep divided. It is essential that we maintain a strong prayer life, and ask The Lord not to allow the plans of the wicked to succeed. The Scripture reminds us to pray, grant not, Lord, the desires of the wicked; do not further their evil plot, or they will be exalted! I encourage you today to seek The Lord in all that you do, and ask Him not to grant the desires of the wicked over your life. There are those who will do all they can to plot against, stop, block, and hinder you from your goals, but you cannot allow their plans to succeed in your life. It is essential that each day you seek The Lord, and the plans that He has for your life, because the plan that The Lord are greater and more powerful than the plan of the enemy. The Lord’s plan for you will prevail. Not everyone's desire for you is to succeed, unfortunately some people's desire is that you utterly fail, but their plan cannot and will not work, as long as you continually seek The Lord and exalt Him in all things, and because The Lord is on your side the plans of the enemy will fail. I am determined to focus on the plan that The Lord has for my life. I know that His plan will succeed and He will get the glory out of my life. Since I will continually seek The Lord in all things, and I know that the plan of my enemies will fail, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, the wicked desires evil against me, allow all their plans to fail. Let every plan for good and prosperity that you have for me flourish in my life. Allow others to see me blessed and prosperous so you can get all the glory. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
