God’s People

"And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians." Exodus 6:7

It is wonderful to be a child of God. When we take the time to look over our live and all of the things we have been through, and we know it was God who delivered us. When we were still in sin, it was God who saw our hopeless condition and chose us to be His children because of His compassion. God chose the children of Israel to be His people and He took care of them when they were going through the most difficult struggles of their lives. God looked down from Heaven and saw their despair and delivered them from the hand of the Egyptians. The Scripture reminds us, I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and you shalI know that I am the Lord your God, which brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I encourage you today to remember that God is with you. God has promised you He would take you to be His people and He would be your God, and as long as you are His and He is yours, you have the assurance that God will always take care of you. Because you are God's and He is yours you can look to Him when things are going well, and you can look to Him when things are not going so well in your life and His promise to you is He will bring you out from the burdens which are upon you. Thank God for bringing you out from under the burdens of life. You may have some burdens now, but know God will lift the burdens off your life. I thank God for choosing me to be His, and He being mine, and because I am His I know He will lift all my burdens off my shoulders, this is why I know without a doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord Thank you for choosing me to be your child. Thank you for lifting every burden off my shoulders and carrying the weight for me. Thank you for loving me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
