God’s Child

“And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased.” Mark 1:11 (ESV)

Those of us who have children always want to see them do well. We root for them to be successful in whatever they choose to do. We go the extra mile for them and make sacrifices for them, because they are our children. As the children of God, He wants the best for us, and He is always rooting for us to do our best and be successful at whatever we do. Our Father has made sacrifices for us, so that we could be saved. God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins. The Scripture reminds us, a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased. I encourage you today to remember that Jesus came to pay the price for your sins. Since your sins are paid for, you can do all you need to do so The Father will be pleased with you. You please the Father, when you are intentional about being a blessing to others. You please The Father when you are showing His love, even in difficult situations. You please The Father when you are walking in His will for your life, so He can receive all the glory. As you go throughout this day, remember you are God’s child and He is well pleased with you and wants you to be successful in all that you do. I am grateful that The Father sent the Son for me, and I know that I am a child of God. Since I am determined to do God’s will, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!

Prayer:

Lord thank you for sending Jesus to pay for my sins. Thank you for reminding me that I am your child and you want the very best for me. Thank you for loving me so much and through it all. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
