God’s Arms Are Not Short
March 14, 2024
"Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:" Isaiah 59:1
No matter how hard we try to avoid the rain there will be times when rain will fall in our lives. No matter how much we try to dot every I and cross every T, there are going to be occasions when we just do not get it right, and no matter how much we try to avoid trouble, somehow trouble will find us. So, since we know trouble will come our way every now and then, we must have a plan to deal with trouble when it shows up. Some will try to handle trouble on their own, and others will call on people to try to help, but when trouble comes our first call should be to The Lord who can deliver us from trouble. No matter the situation we are facing God can and will deliver and hear us when we call Him. The Scripture reminds us that, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that He cannot hear. I encourage you today to remember you serve a God that can reach you and save you no matter where you are. You serve a God who can hear you no matter how low you whisper or how loud you call. When trials and tribulations, and even trouble comes your way do not worry, just call on The Lord who is able to deliver you from all that comes your way. You may call people, who will never call you back, and you may call on family members who may not be able to help, but when you call on The Lord He is always there to deliver and strengthen you. I am grateful that I serve The Lord whose arms are not short, and ears are not heavy, but He always has more than enough to deliver and save me from all of what life throws at me. Since I serve a God who is always there and able to catch me when I fall and hear my faintest of whispers, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for reaching me when I have fallen in the deepest of valleys. Thank you for hearing me when I am on the top of the highest mountain. Thank you for all that you do for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
