God Never Changes

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8

Things around us are constantly changing. The prices of some things seem to change every day. Just a look in our closets we uncover clothes that we wore a year ago, that we may not wear now because style and fashions have changed. The way we feel about people change and our attitudes change depending on the situations and circumstances. We are in a changing world and sometimes it is hard to keep up with how fast things change. Even when we are not as loving and kind as we should be Christ's love for us still abounds in our lives. Even though the world around us is changing we can rest assure Christ will never change. The Scripture reminds us that, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. I encourage you today to remember that Jesus Christ will never change. He loves you just as much as He did when you first gave your life to Him. He wants you to get closer to Him daily. With people you have to wonder if you say something wrong will they still like you, and if you do something wrong will they still want to be around you? With Jesus you never have to worry about those things because He never changes, and He always loves you. He loved you from the foundation of the earth and He will continue to love you. Keep your hand in God's unchanging hand today and know that Christ's love surpasses any love you have ever experienced in your life. Since I know He will never change and He will always be by my side, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for never changing and thank you for loving me even when I change. Since you are a consistent God, I know I can make it through every situation I face. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen
