God Is Great
September 28, 2025
"Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?" Psalm 77:13
We ascribe greatness to many things. We name the greatest football, basketball, and baseball teams and players of all time. We talk about great accomplishments people have made. We say our day was, vacation was, weekends were, and a host of other things we have done were great. However, when we really think about greatness, we must know there is none or nothing greater than our God. The Scripture reminds us that the way of God is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? I encourage you today to remember you serve a great God. The way of God is in the sanctuary, and as you get prepared for another Sunday do not let staying home be an option, press and push your way to the sanctuary. When you do, you will find that you will feel better and be ready to take on the challenges that life throws at you. You have experienced many great things in life, when you really think about it none of them have been as great as the God you serve. God is great and He deserves your great praise and worship every day. There is not at day that goes by when God is not doing something to show you how great He is. People may have glimpses of greatness, but God is great all the time. The God I serve is great, and He is not just great sometimes, but He is great all the time, and there is nothing as great as my God. Since I serve a great God who is doing great things in my life I can say with the utmost confidence, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, as I prepare to go to your Sanctuary to give your name the praise, I will not wait to thank you for all the wonderful things you have done and are doing in my life. Thank you Lord for blessing me beyond measure. Lord, you are great and there is nothing or no one greater than you. I know that I could not and would not make it if you were not in my life. Thank you Lord for always being here for me and hearing my prayer and my cry. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
