God Is Good

“For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.” Psalm 86:5 (ESV)

No matter how hard we try each of us will sin and fall short of God's glory. Every day sin will do all that it can to creep into our lives and before we know it we are asking for forgiveness from people and God. When we ask people for forgiveness they may or may not forgive us, and they may hold a grudge against us for the rest of our lives. However, when we go to God and ask for forgiveness, God does not withhold forgiveness from us. The Scripture reminds us that The Lord is good and forgiving, and abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon Him. I encourage you today to remember that The Lord is good. Every day The Lord pours out His goodness and mercy, because you would not be able to make it through a day without His goodness and mercy being activated in your life. Not only do you need God's goodness and mercy working in your life, but you need to know that God is a forgiving God. When you go to God in sincerity of heart, He will forgive you. You can always call upon The Lord no matter what you are facing in life, and you do not need to have a bad day to call upon The Lord, but you can call upon Him in your good days as well. The Lord loves you and He wants to pour all His blessings on your life. I am so grateful that every day I can ask The Lord to forgive me and know that He truly does, and He give me His mercy without measure, and every time I call on Him, He answers me because He is so good to me. Since I know that The Lord is good to me in all that I go through in life and He hears me when I call, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord forgive me of all my sins, and throw all my sins in the sea of forgetfulness and give me another chance to draw closer to you. Thank you for hearing me when I call and pouring your steadfast love on my life. Love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
