Giving It All To God

"They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's." Matthew 22:21

Jesus' enemies were trying to trick Him, and began to ask Him a series a questions in order to see if they can trip Jesus up. One of these questions were, is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar? Jesus said bring me a penny, and he asked whose picture and signature was on the penny? They replied it was Caesar's Jesus then replied you give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God. Many times we give the that belong to God to everyone else, but God. I encourage you today to give to God what belongs to God. God has blessed you in a mighty way, and you should have no problem giving to Him what belongs to Him. Your praise is not yours, it belongs to God and every chance you get you should give God His praise. The joy you have now the world did not give it to you, but it most certainly will try to take it from you, but your joy belongs to God and you should give it back to Him. Your peace is not found in things or people, your peace is found in God. Give the world what belongs to it, but more importantly give to God what belongs to God. Your heart should belong to God, and you should give God your heart today, and know God will keep you in all situations when you give to Him what belongs to Him. I surrender all to God today and every day, because all I am is because of Him, and belongs to Him. Since I am giving it all to Him, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for a brand new day and everything that I have I give to you. Lord thank you for blessing me in so many amazing ways. I know that everything that I have belongs to you my joy, my peace, my praise it all belongs to you. So on this, Ash Wednesday, I’m determined to give you what belongs to you and that is all of me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
