Give It All To God

“Well, then,” Jesus said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” Mark 12:17 (NLT)

When we borrow things, whatever it is that we borrowed does not belong to us although it is in our possession it is not ours. We are just using it for the time being. There will come a time when we must return the items back to whom they belong. Jesus is faced with the question of should taxes be paid to Caesar? Jesus ask that they bring Him a coin and after He examines the coin, He asks who picture is on the coin, they reply Caesar. The Scripture reminds us that Jesus responds, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God. I encourage you today to give to God what belongs to God. Give God your worship. Give God your praise. Give God your time and your talents. Give God your heart today, because all of you and everything you have belongs to God. Remember everything you have, God has simply lent it to you, and you should be willing to give it all back to Him. I know that I am blessed beyond measure and God has done some great things in my life and have poured out blessings in my life, but I know that I owe it all to Him and will give Him all glory, honor, and praise and so much more, because It all belongs to Him. Since I am willing to give to God what belongs to Him, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord thank you for all that you have blessed me with. I give you all my praise and worship, and my everything because it all belongs to you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
