Get Some Sleep

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8 (ESV)

Each of us has had rough days that made it difficult for us to sleep. We have been worried about the things that we were facing and going through that it is became hard to shut off our minds and get rest. Even when we pray about it, we still find ourselves trying to have a goodnight sleep. When we find ourselves walking the floor all night wondering what to do and praying about what we are going through, is when we need to ask The Lord for His peace. When we have the peace of God, we will be able to navigate any situation we face. The Scripture reminds us, in peace will we lie down and sleep, because The Lord makes us to dwell in safety. I encourage you today to be determined to get rest and sleep. No matter what you are going through, ask The Lord for peace, because when The Lord gives you peace, you know that everything will be all right. When The Lord gives you peace, you know that you will be able to make it through every trial and tribulation you face in life. God’s peace will see you through. I am determined to lie down and sleep, knowing that the Lord will give me peace and work everything out for my good and His glory. Since I am giving it all to The Lord and basking in His peace, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for your peace. It is your peace that sees me through every challenge that I face in life. Thank you for your peace, that allows me to lie down and sleep because I know that you are with me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
