Follow The Leader
March 09, 2023
"For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me." Psalm 31:3
We have all played the childhood game, follow the leader. The leader would lead everyone where they wanted them to go, and those who were following really did not have a clue where they were going, but they followed the leader. We still play follow the leader whether we realize it or not, and there are times we follow people and we are not sure where they are leading us, but we still follow them. Sometimes they lead us to a good place and sometimes they won’t. We have to be sure we are following the right person, who will lead us to the right place. Remember you have a rock and a fortress in The Lord who will protect and lead you on the right path. The Scripture reminds us that, thou are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me. I encourage you today to let The Lord lead and guide you to the places that He has for you. The Lord is your rock and when the trials of life come, you always have a rock you can go to and stand on. Remember that the Rock will not be shaken or moved by your circumstance. The Lord is your fortress and your protection. I am glad that I can always go to the Rock and know that He will always keep and protect me in all things. Since I am standing on the Rock always, I have no doubt, “Its’ My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for being my Rock. Thank you for always leading and guiding me to the great places you have for me. Help me to continue to follow you in all things. Not my will but yours be done. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
