Follow The Instructions

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do.” Joshua 1:7 (NLT)

All of us has purchased something that needed to be assembled, and although it came with instructions, we decided that we did not need them. As we assembled the item it became clear that we couldn’t complete the assembly without the instructions. When we do not follow the instructions, we discover that it looks more like a mess than the item we purchased. The same way we need the instructions to construct an item, we need the instructions from The Lord to construct our lives. Each time we veer away from what The Lord is saying to us we make our lives a mess, it is only when we come back and follow the instructions of The Lord that we begin to see our lives take shape. The Scripture reminds us that, of our need to be strong and courageous, and to follow the instructions that The Lord gives to us. I encourage you today that you follow the Word The Lord has laid out for your life. You should have faith enough to know that The Lord would never lead you down the wrong path, and if you would just follow the instructions that He has for your life, and do what He says, you will prosper wherever you go. Take time to pray and ask The Lord where you should go, and how you should go, before venturing out on your own and making a mess. When you allow The Lord to lead and guide you, He will prosper you wherever He leads you. It is not always going to be easy to follow all that The Lord asks of you, but when you have faith in Him there is no doubt that He is leading you in the right place. Your blessings come in your obedience to the Word of The Lord for your life. I may not always understand where The Lord is leading me, but I do know that He will never steer me wrong, and I will be strong and courageous through it all trusting Him all the way. Since I will trust and obey The Lord and follow His instructions, I know He will prosper me wherever He sends me, this is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord sometimes I don’t understand where you are taking me, but ai trust you and know that you will never lead me wrong. Help me to keep following the instructions even when I don’t understand the path. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
