Focus On What The Lord Is Doing For You
October 17, 2025
"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity." Psalm 37:1
Sometimes if feels like those who do the wrong things are always getting ahead, while those of us who do the right things have to struggle to make ends meet. The question is asked why do good things happen to bad people, and why does bad things happen to good people? There are even times when we may even consider doing the wrong things since it seems the only way to get ahead, only to have our morals kick in and keep us doing the right things. We cannot get consumed with what someone else is doing or not doing to get ahead, but we must stay focused on what The Lord has us doing in our own lives. The Scripture reminds us that, we should not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against the workers of iniquity." I encourage you today not to worry about how anyone else may seemed to be getting ahead but keep focusing on what The Lord has for you. When The Lord sets you out on a path you may see those who are not doing right getting ahead for now, but remember that God always has the final say. It is The Lord who keeps and blesses you through it all, and a temporary blessing of someone else should never deter you from the plan that The Lord has for your life. Do not become envious of others because of what they may have or what they are doing, The Lord has a plan for your life, and He will take care of you. Stay focused on what The Lord has you doing in your life, and do not fret or become envious of anyone else because what God has for you is for you. I thank God that He is blessing me that I do not have to fret or become envious of anything or anyone else because I know He has great things in store for my life. Since I will not fret or become envious, but will keep following God no matter what, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for all the great and wonderful things you are doing in my life. Thank you for the doors you have opened and the ways you have made already for me. Thank you for the doors you will open and the ways you will make for me. Help me to remain focused on the great and wonderful things you are doing in my life and not what anyone is or isn’t doing. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
