Filled With Knowledge

"For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." Habakkuk 2:14

There are times when we can work hard and put our all into a job, just to get passed over for the promotion. It seems like the person who works the least or comes in late the most is the one who gets the promotion before those who seemingly deserve it. Then once the person gets the promotion, they still have to come to us and ask us questions, because they did not get the promotion because they deserved it, they got the promotion because of who they knew. There are times when people get to places in life by who they know. It is important for us to make sure we know the right person. The right person for each of us to know is The Lord. It is not enough to know of Him we have to really have to know Him for ourselves. The Scripture reminds us that, the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. I encourage you today to take the time to get to know The Lord better and grow in your knowledge of Him daily. As you are filled with the knowledge of who The Lord is in your life, you will be able to share with others the great blessings God has given to you. When you really come into full knowledge for yourself who God is there will not be anything or anybody who will be able to stop you from getting everything God has prepared for your life. People may use their connections in the workplace to get ahead, but when you are filled with the knowledge of God you do not worry about those things because you know He has something great prepared for your life, and you know what God has for you is for you. I thank God for the wonderful knowledge He has given me about Him, and since I am filled with the knowledge of who He is I know, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Lord, thank you for revealing yourself to me more and more each day. My desire is to know you better every day and to draw closer to you in every way. Thank you Lord for loving me and always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
