Faithful

“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (ESV)

As we come to close of another year, we can say with certainly that The Lord has been good to us. Each of us has experienced some highs and lows this year, but through them all The Lord has been by our side. As we look back over the last year of our lives, we can see that there was never a time when God was not faithful to us. The Scripture reminds us that, He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. I encourage you today to remember just how faithful The Lord has been to you. There was not a day or a time when The Lord had not been there for you in your time of need. There was not one day that you were hungry, and The Lord did not provide food for your table. There was not one day when you were lonely, and The Lord did not show up to be by your side. Every promise that He made to you, The Lord fulfilled or is fulfilling them in your life. The Lord is a promise keeper, and He will keep every promise that He has made to you. It may not happen when you want, but when you remember that The Lord is faithful and He will do it, you don’t worry about when it will happen, you rest in the fact that it is going to happen. Last year may not have been all that you wanted it to be, but one thing you should know for sure, is that The Lord was faithful and did what He said he was going to do. I am grateful and thankful for the faithfulness of The Lord working in my life, and I know that everything He said He would do for me He has or will do come to pass in my life. Since I serve a faithful God I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for every promise you have made to me. I know that every word that you have spoken for my life will come to pass. Thank you for always being faithful and always being there for me. Thank you for your loving kindness through this year, and I know that you will be with me every step of the way in 2024. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
