Faithful

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (ESV)

Every day rather we want to or not we all sin. Sin does not have to be big or small, it is just sin. Sin is unfortunately part of our human nature. What do we do when we sin? Should we shrug it off as no big deal or should we go to God and ask for forgiveness of our sin? The answer is simple, we should ask God to forgive us or our sins. God loves us and God is a forgiving God, and He will forgive, if we would only ask. The Scripture reminds us, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I encourage you today to ask God to forgive you or all your sins. God is faithful and through all you have been through in your life, God has been there with you. God’s faithfulness is extended to His forgiveness, and you can be assured that God will forgive. When God forgives, we must walk in His forgiveness and not beat ourselves us, because once God forgives, He also forgets. I am grateful that I know that I am forgiven by God. He has been faithful and just to cleanse me of all unrighteousness and I am thankful. Since I am forgiven by God, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord thank you for being a forgiving God. Thank you Lord for forgiving and loving me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
