Everything For Him

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17 (ESV)

As we go through our daily routines, we will be faced with making decisions. Some of the decisions we will need to make will be challenging and difficult and others not so much. When making those decisions we may need to consult with others who have expertise, and they can help us through what we face. No matter what we are faced with before we do anything we should go to God. We go to God because He will lead and guide us in the right direction, but we also want to ensure that everything that we are doing gives Him glory. The Scripture reminds us that whatever we do in word or deed, we should do it in the name of The Lord with thanksgiving. I encourage you today to evaluate all that you do, and ensure that God can and will get the glory out of your actions. Let love be your primary focus today that others may see the love of God working in your life and thar you are walking in God’s will. It won’t always be easy, but I am determine to do everything in the name of The Lord with thanksgiving so that He will get the glory out of my life. Since God’s will is my goal, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!’

Prayer:

Lord, let your will be done in my life. Let me do in thought, word, and deed that which brings you glory, honor and praise. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
