Easy To Find
January 10, 2024
"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:" Isaiah 55:6
We have all lost something and after an extensive search could not find what we were looking for. We have spent hours and days looking for something that we thought we placed in one place, only to discover that it is not there. There are times when we have looked in the same place several times, and then when we look again somehow what we were looking for appears closer than what we thought it was. Not only have we experienced losing things and not finding them, but we also have experienced calling someone who does not answer us, because they claim they did not hear us. It can be frustrating calling someone who we think is in earshot, only to have them not answer. It is good to know that no matter when or where we call on The Lord, He is always near enough to us hear and to answer. The Scripture reminds us to seek the Lord while He may be found and call upon Him while He is near. I encourage you today to seek The Lord in all that you are facing. Call upon The Lord even when things are going well, because The Lord is never too far from you that He will not answer you. The Lord is easy to find, all you have to do is look, and you will not need to search diligently, because The Lord makes Himself easy to find once you make up your mind to search for Him. There is not a time in your life that The Lord has failed or forsaken you, and He will not begin now. Seek The Lord in all that you do, and call upon Him in all that you are facing, and He will be there for you. I have lost some things on this journey of life, and could not find them. I have called people for help, who did not answer me, but every time I seek The Lord, I find Him, and every time I call Him, He answers me. I know that The Lord is always close to me and that is why I can boldly proclaim, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for always being close enough to hear me when I call. Thank you for never leaving or forsaking me. Thank you for always being easy to find in my good and bad days. Thank you Lord for all the ways you continue to make for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
