Early In The Morning

“And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord.” Genesis 19:27 (ESV)

No matter how much we try not to worry, we will worry about some things. When we worry too much, it can cause us lose sleep and we found ourselves up early in the morning. When we cannot sleep we lay in the bed and not really do anything, and then there are other times we toss and turn or get up and begin to do things around the house because we are up, and out mind is racing. Abraham had just seen the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the escape of his nephew Lot and his family, but he also experienced seeing Lot’s wife be turned into a pillar of salt. The Scripture reminds us that, early in the morning Abraham went to the place where he stood before the Lord. I encourage you today no matter what you are going through to get up early in the morning and stand before When things are weighing you down, that is the time when you get up early and get to the place where you stand before The Lord, and tell Him all about what you are going through. Early in the morning is a great time to stand before The Lord and let Him know what is on your heart and your mind. Early in the morning before your house gets stirring and your day gets started stand before The Lord and have a talk with Him. Abraham just experienced a great loss, and yet He was standing before The Lord, and no matter what it is you are facing today or any day, you can stand before The Lord, and He will hear you when you call on Him. It may be difficult for you to get up early, but when your burdens are heavy and you cannot sleep, get up and get to the place where you stand before The Lord, and He will meet you there, and you will know that you can make it after you stand before Him. Early in the morning or every late in the night, when trials and tribulations come my way, I will get up to the place where I stand before The Lord, and He will meet me there, and He will bless me there. Since I will get up early and meet The Lord, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for every day that you give to me. Thank you for all the blessings you pour into my life and early in the morning I will stand before you and bless your name and pour out my heart to you. Thank you for hearing me when I call on you. Thank you for always meeting me, early in the morning. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
