Don’t Worry, Pray

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

If we are not careful, we can allow anxiety to overwhelm us. We can become so concerned about everything that we are facing, that we will worry ourselves sick. Worrying about something that we cannot change, will not change it. When we are faced with situations that are too great for us, and before we become consumed by them, we should take everything to The Lord in prayer, and know that He will work them all out in our favor. The Scripture reminds us, don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. I encourage you today that instead of worrying about it, pray about it. Instead of looking everywhere and to everyone, look to The Lord and allow Him to lead and guide you to the places and spaces that He has designed just for you. Tell God what you need and remember that He is more than able to supply and provide for all your needs. There is not one need that you have that The Lord cannot fulfill. Look back over your life and recount all the blessings The Lord has poured into your life, and thank Him for what He has already done, and thank Him for what He is about to do in your life. Since The Lord did it before for you, He will do it again, if you would only have faith. I have decided not to worry, but to pray and praise God for all the great and wonderful things He has done in my life. I thank God for how good He has been to me, and for the great things He has in store for my future. Since I am determined not to worry, but to pray, praise, and thank God always for His goodness towards me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for being so good to me. Thank you for all the ways you have made for me. Forgive me for worrying about, more than I have prayed about it. Thank you for all the blessings and the great things you are about to do in my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
