Don’t Give Up

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:” Isaiah 40:30

Each of us has come to a point where we have been just plain tired. We were tired of working, tired of the complaints, tired of running from one place to another, tired of feeling like we were the only ones that could accomplish the task at hand. When we come to a place of weariness it is easy to want to just give up and throw in the towel, but we must find the strength to keep pressing forward. There are going to be times in life when we are weary and want to walk away from the task because we do not feel like we have what we need to accomplish that task. When we are weary, we may feel like we have failed because we are tired, but we must take heart and remember that everyone gets tired sometimes. The Scripture reminds us that, even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. I encourage you today not to give up when you are feeling tired. Do not give up when you are weary with the road that you are on, but continue to push forward in doing the very things that The Lord has called you to do. Becoming weary is not a bad thing, giving up because you are weary is the thing that will keep you from reaching your destiny. There are going to be some days when you are going to have to push through even when you do not feel like it, and it is going to be in your pushing through that you will see that it is all worth the journey, because The Lord is with you, and once you make it to the finished line you will enjoy the shout of victory. No matter how weary I may become I will continue to press on towards the goal remembering that The Lord will give me strength to finish the race. Since I will not faint or give up, I know for sure, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for giving me the strength to press forward when weariness sets in. Thank you for blessing me and keeping me through it all. I will not give up even when I am tried because I know you are always with me. I love you Lord. In Jesus name Amen.
