Don’t’ Give Up

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)" Romans 10:23

When things are not going our way, it is easy at times to lose faith in people and in things. Just when we thought we had it all figured out something else happens to take us back to a place where we didn't want to be. It seems like every time we take two steps forward, life comes and knocks us back five steps, and people will tell us to keep the faith, but in reality, all we want to do is give up. The Scripture reminds us, let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering: (for he is faithful that promised;). I encourage you today that no matter what comes your way, hold on to your faith and know God is always on your side. No matter how many steps you take backward, hold on to your faith and do not let anything or anyone sway you away from your faith. Hold on to faith, because faith is what is going to see you through the most difficult times of your life. You may lose faith in things, in systems, and in people, but never lose faith in God. God will be there for you in every phase of your life. God has been with you in this season of Lent and has blessed you. I know I will have good and bad days, but I also know that God is faithful and He will be with me and keep me through it all. Since I will never give up and always trust the promises of God, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord than you for being a promise keeper. Thank you for always being faithful to me. Thank you for all the blessings of this Lenten season. Thank you for being my God. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
