Don’t Be Afraid
January 23, 2024
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)
We all are going to have to face challenging situations. We are going to have to stand in the face of fear and not allow fear to freeze us into not moving forward. We are going to have to look at mountains that seem uncrossable, and begin to climb the mountain, remembering that we are not alone. When we are faced with challenges in life, it can be daunting, but we must also remember that through it all God is with us. God has promised us that He would always be with us, and in the darkest times of our lives, God is with us. The Scripture reminds us that God told Joshua, be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. I encourage you today to remember that you are not alone. When God gives you direction, do not be afraid, because you are not alone. If we are strong and courageous, trusting in The Lord, He has promised that He will go with us and there is no reason to be afraid. God promises us that He will not leave or forsake us, and since God promised that He will be with us, we will not be afraid, and we will stand and be strong and courageous. No matter what I face I know that I do not face it alone. I know that through it all that God is with me, and I will not be afraid. Since I will be strong and courageous because God is always with me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for never leaving or forsaking me. Thank you Lord for always leading and guiding me to the places you have for me. I will not be afraid of what I face, because I know that you are with me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
