Do Not Stagger
October 23, 2023
"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;" Romans 4:20
Some people will promise us many things and not deliver on anything. Some people will do most of what they promised us to do, and yet it seems that the thing they can't do is the thing we needed done the most. One thing is for sure, we can always count on the promises of God. We can always depend on God coming through on everything He promised us. The Scripture reminds us that Abraham did not stagger at the promises of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving God glory. I encourage you today not to stagger at the promises of God. It may look like they will never come to pass, but God will do what He said He would do in your life. Do not give up on God, because He never gave up on you. Do not think that God will not do what he said He would do, because you do not have it now. What God has promised for your life will come to pass, all you have to do is trust and depend on Him, and give Him glory while you are waiting and He will come through on His promises to you. God is not slack in doing what He has promised to you, just hold on, trust and believe, and God will do what He said. I am waiting on the promises of God, and I know God will come through for me, and although I don't have everything He has promised me yet, I am walking in them like they are already mine. Since I am not staggering at God's promises for me, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing from My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for always keeping your promises. I know that I have to wait sometimes, but I am determined to wait on you. I will glorify and magnify your Holy name. I will not stagger while I wait on you, I will continue to stand and walk in the promises you have for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
