Do Good

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.” Proverbs 3:27 (ESV)

We all know someone who goes out of their way to help anybody. They are always making sacrifices for other people and don’t ask for anything in return. When we need them, they are there and they don’t require a lot of attention, they just want to be a blessing. Because they are there for everyone else and go out of their way to be a blessing to others, rarely are they given their flowers or acknowledgement for all they do. We should go out of our way to recognize and bless those who bless others. The Scripture reminds us, do not withhold good form those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. I encourage you today to do good to someone who is always doing good for others. Let someone know that you see their hard work and dedication and you want to be a blessing to them. A word of recognition and encouragement can go a long way. If you are the person that always goes above and beyond and are there for everyone, be encouraged that God sees your good work and He will bless you greatly. I am grateful for those who go above and beyond to be a blessing to me and others, and as long as a I can, I will honor them for all they do. Since I will not withhold good from those who deserve it, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for those you have placed in my life who are a great blessing. Pour out your blessings on them and reward them openly for what they have done privately. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
