Complete And Filled In Him
March 23, 2026
“and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.” Colossians 2:10 (ESV)
There are some who look for other people and things to complete them. When those people and things do not come through like we think they should then we can be left feeling incomplete. When we are dependent on jobs, people, and tangible things to define who we are, when those things are taken away, then we can feel like we are not going to be able to go on, because what we used to define us is not there anymore. The Scripture reminds us we have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. I encourage you today to remember you are complete in Christ and in Christ alone. Do not allow things that are here today and gone tomorrow to define who you are. Do not allow people who may or may not have your best interest at heart to be what you claim to completes or fills you. Your completeness is in Christ. Without Christ in your life you are fractured, broken, and incomplete. Christ will complete you, and since He is the One who created you, He is the only one who should be able to complete you. All power is in Christ's hand and if He is all powerful, then you can trust Him with all in your life. There is not a situation you can find yourself in that Christ will not be there with you. There is not a thing you go through that Christ is not powerful enough to bring you out of. If you are broken, fractured, or shattered, come to Christ and He will take the broken pieces of your life and put them back together again, and complete you. I know I am complete in Him, and since I am competed by an all powerful God I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you that I know that you feel me with all your goodness mercy and love. I also know that I am complete in you, you have made me just like you needed me to be. Allow me to walk in your goodness and grace today that others may see your love on me and that that love slows to them as well. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
