Comfort Through It All

"For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. 6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;" 2 Corinthians 7:5-6

Each of us has been in a situation where we were just plain tired. We have had days full of work, and things we needed to get done, and at the end of the day we are exhausted. It seems like when we are physically exhausted is when trouble wants to come and find us. It is in these seasons of life that we must remember that we have a God who is always there for us and will keep us in the midst of it all. The Scripture reminds us that Paul was going through something similar, he was physically tired, but had trouble on every side, fighting without, and fears within. Nevertheless, God gives comfort to those that are cast down, and God comforted Him by sending Titus. I encourage you today that no matter if there is trouble on every side in your life, and you are fighting without and within, remember that God will comfort you through it all. There will be days and weeks and even months where you will feel like there is trouble on every side, and you are cast down, and you are too tired to even think about fighting through it. There will be times when you will be fighting on the outside and having fears on the inside, but it is in those times you must remember that you do not walk alone, The Lord is always there walking with you through it all. Even with all that you are going through, remember you serve a God who sees all and knows all, and He will send you comfort, and give you the peace you need to make it through all that you are facing. Trouble may come on every side, and I may feel like I am fighting on every hand, but I will always know that I have a God who gives me comfort in the midst of it all. The Lord will always be with me even when I am surrounded by trouble, assuring me that trouble does not last always. Since I know that The Lord is my comforter, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, when there is trouble on every side I will not worry or fear because I know that you are with me every step of the way. Thank you for always being with me through all that I face. I know that when I feel like I can’t go on you are there to lead and guide me through it all. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
