Clean Heart

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." Psalm 51:10

We have all made some mistakes at least a few times in our lives. Some of our mistakes took a long time to repair, and it has taken some time to be forgiven and for us to forgive. One thing is for sure The Lord will forgive us if we would only ask Him. David a man after God’s own heart messed up and he knew he messed up, and He went to The Lord and asked for forgiveness, and to create in him a clean heart. The Scripture reminds us that David asked, create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. I encourage you to today to ask The Lord to give you a clean heart. Lent is the time to ask The Lord to forgive and to create in us a clean heart, and to renew in us a right spirit. This is the time for us to lay all our sins on the altar and to remember that we serve a God who gives us opportunities at another chance. Ask The Lord to create in you a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within you so after you come out of this season you will be better and stronger. Every day I ask The Lord to forgive me and to create in me a clean heart and to give me a right spirit. Since I know God is giving me a clean heart, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord forgive me of all my sins and create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me every day. Thank you for forgiving me and giving me another chance. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
