Call On His Name

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10 (ESV)

There are some people who are so popular that we recognize them by their names. A name alone can be powerful to those who call it, and even with a powerful name there are still some who will not respect or recognize how powerful the name is. There is not another name as powerful as The Lord, and yet some do not recognize or respect the power in His name. The Scripture reminds us that, the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run in and are safe. I encourage you today to remember that the name of The Lord is your strong tower. There is not a time or place where you can call that name and you will not be safe from all hurt harm and danger. The name of The Lord alone is enough that when people hear it, all will know immediately the power and authority that is His name. Just the name of The Lord alone is your strong tower that when trouble arises you can call that name and when you do, you are safe in the strong tower of The Lord. When you are in the valley of life, do not worry or fear just call on the name of The Lord, and when you are on the mountain tops of life, call on the name of The Lord. When you feel like you are all alone, call on the name of The Lord, and when your enemy comes against you, call on the name of The Lord, for His name alone is so powerful that even demons tremble at His name. When you feel helpless or hopeless there is a name you can call and be safe. No matter where I am or what I may be facing I will always call on the name of The Lord who is my strong tower, and I can run in and be safe. Since I will always call on HIs name, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord your name is powerful and mighty, and I am grateful that I can call on your name at any time and in any place and you will hear and answer me. Thank you Lord for always being near and there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
