Be Steadfast
March 09, 2024
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58
Life is filled with a series of ups and downs, and hiccups and roadblocks along the way. When we are facing life's challenges it can be difficult to stay focused and encouraged, and it can be difficult to keep moving forward because of what we are facing. For each of us there are going to be days when the rain is going to fall and the winds are going to blow so hard that we will feel like we cannot move, but we cannot allow what we are going through to stop us from moving forward. When we continually hold on to God and remember that He is always holding on to us, then we will be able to make it pass each life’s challenges. The Scripture reminds us to be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that we do not labor in vain in the Lord. I encourage you today not to let what you are facing keep you from moving forward. Be steadfast and resolute that the things that are in front of you will have to move so you can get the blessings that The Lord has for you. Be steadfast in all that you do and remember that you are never alone. Be unmovable when you know The Lord has set you on the right path, and do not allow what you see or hear to move you off the path that He has placed you on. It will not be easy, but you can rest assure that The Lord is walking with you, and whatever you do for The Lord will stand the test of time, because you are not doing it in vain, because you know The Lord has great things in store for you. Trials will come and mountains, and hurdles will be in front of me, but I will not allow them to move or sway me because I know that The Lord is walking with me in all things. Since I will be steadfast and unmovable always holding onto The Lord I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord when the storms of life are raging, help me to be steadfast, unmovable and always abounding in the work that you have for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
