Be A Blessing

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:4 (ESV)

There is no doubt that The Lord has blessed us. When we look at our lives and realize where The Lord has brought us from, we can see that we are blessed far more than we deserve. The Lord has blessed us, and we should be a blessing to others. There are those we encounter every day and we have multiple opportunities to be a blessing to those in need, and we should never squander them, but use them as an opportunity to share God’s love. The Scripture reminds us, let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. I encourage you today to be a blessing. There are many ways you can be a blessing to others today. You can share a word of encouragement to someone who is down. You can share a Scripture with someone who just needs a word. Be a blessing by showing kindness to someone who may not even like you. Be determined not to just look out for your own interest, but for others as well, just as The Lord has always look out for you. I am determined to be a blessing to others, because I know that The Lord has blessed me greatly and I always want to show forth His glory. Since I will not only look out for my own interest, but for others as well, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for blessing me in so many ways. Help me to be a blessing to others today. Help me to share a word of encouragement and show your love to others, so you can get the glory out of my life. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
