Ask, Seek, And Knock

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7 (ESV)

When we need something, we have to ask for it. We cannot assume that everyone knows what we need, if we don’t ask. It can be difficult asking for help, but when we find our backs against the wall, we must put our pride aside and ask for help. No matter how independent we may think that we are or how much we don’t need help form anyone, we will all come to a place in our lives when we need to ask for help. There are times when we don’t even want to ask God for help, and although He knows what we need and when we need it, God wants us to go to Him in faith and ask for what we need. The Scripture reminds us, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. I encourage you today to ask The Lord for what you want, and when you ask, ask in faith believing that you will receive what you ask for. Trust God to open every door for you that needs to be opened. Trust God to make ways for you that only He can make. You do not have to traverse life on your own, making your own way. The Lord will always be there for you, if you would seek Him, He will be found by you. The Lord is waiting for you to ask, seek, and knock, so He can answer you. In those days that I try to do things on my own and I cannot make it, I am reminded that all I need to do, is to ask God, seek His face and He will answer me, and open every door that needs to opened in my life. Since I am determined to ask God for what I need, seek God always and know He will open doors for me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for hearing me when I call. Thank you for never being hard to find. Thank you for every door you have opened for me, and thank you for every door you have closed for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
