Acceptable Words

"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14

In all that we do we should want to make sure it is pleasing in the sight of The Lord. Many times, we do not even think about what we say or do, and how The Lord may look at our actions, we just do them. Many times, we make decisions and do not even pray or ask The Lord for direction in the situation. As Christians we should want our lives to be pleasing to The Lord. The Scripture reminds us that we should let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in the sight of the Lord who is our redeemer. I encourage you today to make sure that the words of your mouth are acceptable in the sight of The Lord. Make sure the words you speak to others are words of life and not death. Make sure the words you speak will encourage and uplift someone and not bring them down. As you go throughout your day make sure the things you are pondering on in your heart, will be acceptable to The Lord. Think about peace, joy, and love even when people do all types of things to you. If The Lord is really going to use you, then the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart have to be acceptable in the sight of The Lord who is your redeemer. Every day I want the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart to be acceptable not just to people, but more importantly to The Lord. Since this is my prayer daily, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, My Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Let my words bring life today that someone might be able to see you and bring you glory. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
