A Sure Foundation

“For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:6 (ESV)

There are some days that it feels like we have lost everything, and the only thing we have left is our faith. There are times when we want to throw up our hands and walk away from everything and everyone, but it is our faith that gives us the strength to stand through it all. We continue to stand on a strong foundation of faith, where Christ is the cornerstone. The Scripture reminds us, “For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame. I encourage you today that no matter how difficult things may become to stand on the sure foundation of your faith where Christ is the cornerstone. It may not be able to stand on your faith when people are telling you to let go but keep believing God and know that He will not put you to shame. No matter how difficult things may be or how impossible it may seem that I can make it, I will continue to stand on my sure foundation of my faith. I know I will never be ashamed of standing in faith. Since I am standing on the sure foundation, with a tried cornerstone, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for being my sure foundation and tried cornerstone. All my faith is in you, and I know that by trusting completely in you, I will not be put to shame. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
