A Sure Foundation

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18

In life we are going to have some adversities, trials, and tribulations. We are going to have good and bad days, and some of our good days will be better than others, and some of our bad days will be worse than others. Since we know, we are going to have these varying of days in our lives it is essential for us to make sure we have a good foundation. It is the sure foundation that we have in Christ Jesus that will keep us when the things of life try to come against us. The Scripture reminds us that, Jesus reminded Peter that on this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I encourage you today to remember that no matter what it is that tries to come against you, it will not work. Since you are of Christ there are going to be things that will try its best to attack you and to take you down, but remember you are built up in Christ and even the very gates of hell shall not prevail against you. Storms will come, but they shall not prevail against you. Trails will come, but they shall not prevail against you, obstacles, challenges, and people will come, but they will not prevail, because you are of Christ, and He is with you through it all. When you are bombarded with major attacks, it may be rough, but stay the course and keep trusting in God, and know they shall not prevail against you. When the enemy attacks me, I know he will give it his all, but I know that I am built on Christ and those things that try to take me down shall not prevail against me. Since I know that Christ is my strong and sure foundation, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for being my strong tower that I can run into and be safe from the storms of lie and the attacks of the enemy. Thank you that you are my strong foundation and I can stand on you through any and every thing and it will not prevail against me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
