A Strong Hold

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7

There is no doubt that The Lord is good to us. Each day He wakes us up and provides for our every need. None of the blessings we have in our lives do we deserve, but somehow and for some reason The Lord blesses us. When trouble arises in our lives, we look for friends and people to be there for us and sometimes they are and at other times they are not, but The Lord is always there for us. The Scripture reminds us that the Lord is good and a strong hold in the day of trouble and He knows who puts their trust in Him. I encourage you today to remember that no matter what you are facing, The Lord is good. People may not be good to you, but The Lord good. In the time of trouble, The Lord is there for you and He will see you through all things. He is your strong hold, and you can hold on to Him when the winds and storms of life are blowing at their strongest and remember that He will always hold on to you. Trust The Lord with everything and know when you put it in The Lord’s hands it is in the best possible hands ever. We are not always good, but The Lord is always good, and He is faithful to be with us always. I know The Lord is good to me, and that no matter what I am going through I can always hold on to Him, and He knows I trust Him. Since I trust The Lord, I can bold proclaim even in the midst of trouble, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, you are absolutely good to me in all situations and circumstances. You are there for me when all the chips are down, and you are there for me when my skies are the bluest. I know that no matter how hard the wind is blowing in my life, I can always hold on to you, and you will always hold on to me. In all situations I trust you Lord and I know you will always see me through. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
